Tell us a little about yourself and your background.

Well I’m from Kinston, NC. Born Kendall Hawkins I’m “??” Years Old Lol. I come from a single parent household. It was just me, my sister, my little brother, and mother growing up. Had dreams of playing in the NFL growing up, all my life I’ve been the goofy one in my family and crew.

I feel being goofy allows you to have a full experience life. Life’s just too short to be serious all the time.

Who are some of your musical influences coming up?

Grown up I listened to a lot of Gucci Mane, 50cent, T.I, Cash Money, No limit, J. Cole, and D Block,

How does your music stand out? How has to changed?

That’s hard to say really because I feel like having a style limits you to one audience.

My music is just a reflection of the things I’ve been through in life so most of my music is based off was going on with or around me.

Describe what your process is like for making music? Do you have any rituals or specific routine

I don’t really have a process that’s I got through. Most of the time it’s just a spare of the moment type thing unless I plan to record.

Who are some artist that have inspired you and why?

Gucci Mane is my biggest inspiration just from his work ethic and and how he is respected by his peers.

How would you describe your studio vibes?

I vibe off the room. So I keep positive vibes and people around.

And when you catch me jumping through the roof just know I feel like that’s songs a hit.

Which song of yours is your favorite and why?

Thats hard. I rock with all my tracks but Yung Niggaz might just be my favorite. That track gets me hype every time I hear it. When that tracks was recorded, I was living life! It was my freshman year at Fayetteville State too, so I was cutting up just a little bit.

What are your thoughts on the current state of hip-hop music today?

To be honestly man, I listen to local artist more than anything.

What’s the hardest challenge of being an artist in today’s era?

Starting true to yourself and not conforming to what everyone else likes or think you should be.

What are you three favorite Hip-Hop Songs at the moment?

50cent-I’m The Man, Real Life by Me, and Jcole-Chaining Day

If you could work with any artist you wanted, who would be your dream collaboration?

Gucci Mane…
